Doctor Radio's Immersive World - Spooky Ghosts First Game

    by SpookyGhost » Thu Sep 05, 2013 11:04 pm

    Hello everyone!

My name is Shari' and I am one of the four developers of Spooky Ghost Studio. Our Kickstarter campaign just launched for our first full production game Doctor Radio's Immersive World. I am working on publicity for us seeing as how we're such a small, new and unknown studio. I thought it would be a good idea to introduce us here.

Doctor Radio's Immersive World is a 3D, single player, side scrolling, open world, adventurous shooter. It will release on PC, Mac, Linux and potentially most major consoles.

Please check out our Kickstarter and if you have any questions about us or the game, feel free to ask. :D

I definitely empathize with the difficulty of publicity/marketing/sales with a small and new company. What kind of reception have you been getting?

Hello! Thanks for the response, sorry it's taken so long to see it. People who find out about us in various ways are excited about the project but it seems that in order to have a large project like ours you kinda already need to be famous in order to succeed on Kickstarter. Big names and such backing you up.

A few people have told us that very bluntly through our website and Kickstarter as well. We did our best with the resources we had, and we'll be working on a much smaller project until we can pull the funds together to completely finish Doctor Radio's Immersive World.
