Pleased to meet everyone! I've already learned a lot by browsing through the forums. I wrote a book called Mana a little over two years ago, but it has only been published for a year. I traditionally published the first book, but publishers kinda....suck, so I started up a kickstarter to try to self-publish the second book in the series.

I opted for a 30 day goal because I personally didn't have much time and 30 days seemed better. I have 24 days left and I haven't raised anything. I'm trying my hardest on networks and asking everyone I know, but it's starting to seem futile..

I've been working diligently on the book alone for a long time, but nothing seems to work in whatever I do. I have faith, but the numbers are leaving me discouraged. Can anyone help me? I may be in too deep.

If you're wondering why the goal is so..steep. It's because I'd like to stand out from the indie market and make a crossover, I realize that I have to imitate what it is that New York publishers do with their books. I researched it all.

Hey DragoonWriter - Welcome to the forum! Glad there are some helpful tips on the forum . Hmm... you could check out the cross promotion thread going on? index-of-current-projects-looking-to-cross-promote-t913.html

These are project creators interested in cross promoting or helping each other out with their Kickstarter campaign.

How have you gone about driving traffic to the campaign?

Sure have! Everything from twitter to personal requests.. I'd like to think I'm not doing anything wrong, but geez. I've already messaged a few in that thread. I just don't want to give up simply because I don't have as large a platform as others.
