How does $30K in 'pledges' equal $1M in 'backing'?
Am I missing something?

Just saw 'The Neck Hammock' on Indegogo and its got just about $1M in 'backing'.
As it's one of the most questionable products I've ever seen I wondered who is giving them so much money?
Well, it certainly isn't the 'pledges', they only add up to about $30K.

So whose $1M will Indegogo be handing over at the end of the campaign?

I'm asking because I want to launch a project in the near future. If there are big wrinkles that I don't know about then I'm nervous.
