Hi Kickstarter Forum,

I just recently kickstarted my project The BBiQ with my friend Michael Raymond. What we've set out to do is make a truly smart device that can pretty much take all the worrying out of hosting a barbecue.

As you can see we have a fairly ambitious project on our hands and I'm hoping we can get some advice from other people that have tried to get similar projects funded. Any feedback you can give would be helpful.

I'm optimistic that we'll be able to make our goal. We just need to get the word out to as many people as we can.

That's awesome! How did you manage to get on the news show? It is a good gift-type of product as the reporter mentioned.

They contacted us shortly after our kickstarter and press release went live. Getting some more exposure like that would be awesome.
