Well not really a vehicle, per say, more of a bicycle, but nonetheless a great idea for anyone who needs transportation under $1000. I know how to assemble motorized bicycles with small 2 stroke motors in a matter of hours and I know numerous people who want them. I have the projected costs, shipping and all possible kinks mapped out and want to try and make my first Kickstarter based on this idea. I only have one problem...

I have no prototype. Due to money constraints I can't build one until I receive at least 65-70% of the $500 sale price. Should I go ahead and try without one or what?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Zac,

Welcome to the forum! I would recommend demonstrating in some way that you can pull off the project, either from your experience or motorized bikes that you have built in the past. Otherwise the project would be less strong because you would appear less credible.

Hope you have some good discussions and make some good contacts.
