Legion Quest is a brand new Collectible Card Game in the early stages of development designed by aspiring local artists!

    INTRODUCTION

Legion Quest is a fast-paced, 2 to 5 players, skill based, Collectible Card Game with a fantasy theme. Players build their own decks and battle in duels to be the first to forge 3 Legions onto the battlefield. Players take turns Conjuring Energy, Summoning Armies, Forging Legions and Striking your Opponent. Use Quest Cards to swap Armies, demand Tolls and lots more. Make sure you Conjure enough Energy into your Pool because other Players will Strike you too!

    THE STARTER DECKS

The first Starter Deck is called the Movement of Magic. This is a control and draw based strategy full of dark cards, witches, and features the Queen of Darkness. The second Starter Deck is called Under Siege. This is an attack based, aggressive strategy with cards representing men, dwarves and powerful dragons. The feature card of this deck is The General.

    PHILOSOPHY

Legion Quest is a test of skill. The focus of the game is competitive, fast paced game play. There is no score keeping in Legion Quest, no dice, counters or extra materials needed. We dream of Legion Quest as having a large network of organized play events. We hope to hold cash prize tournaments. Legion Quest will always stay committed to the collect-ability of cards, and the small local gaming stores. Legion Quest is not intended for the big box retailers. We want our game in local gaming, comic book and collectible stores!

    THE JOURNEY

Creators Brandyon McMillian and Bryan Gibbons designed the general concept and game engine of Legion Quest over 2 years ago. For the past 2 years we have beta tested, tweaked and designed Legion Quest into the game it has become today. The cards started as index card proxies! As the idea and dream grew, the cards and design process has transformed into what you see today.

    WHY KICKSTARTER?

It costs money to hire artists and graphic designers, found a company, pay for lawyer’s fees, print out prototypes, and there is countless other start up business expenses. Bottom line: even with a limited budget, quality is of paramount importance to us; so while we budgeted and searched for cost saving options, we never cut any corners, and we hope that it shows in the final product through superior design and artwork. The best printers also demand large orders in the thousands. That’s tough, if not impossible, to fund out of your own pocket. Word-of-mouth advertising can help expand your gaming community, but we would love to actually have a legitimate marketing campaign to help sell the game and spread it worldwide. Again, Kickstarter can make a giant difference here. We are even hoping the Kickstarter does well enough that it allows us to immediately start work on the next expansion series.
Thank you for your pledge! We appreciate your support of gaming, art and our dream more than words can express on this page! This project is our passion, hobby and business.
