    100% Grass Fed Beef

    by TexasRain33 » Sat Mar 05, 2016 8:59 pm

I am from a small town in west Texas and I've been a farmer all my life. I want to make a difference so I started my project https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/48 ... fed-beef-0

I am having trouble getting the word out there. Any advice?

Honestly, I think that before thinking about spreading the word out, you need to polish some details in your campaign.

First of all, video. You need some that looks more professional. You can't be sitting on your sofa. People want to know your story, at least I want to. I want to see how your farm looks like, how cow-friendly is your town just to produce super quality 100% grass-feed meat, how you love your cows, the name of them, stuff like that. Show your passion and this starts for your body position in the video. You don't show passion right now.

Then i would try to add more pictures to the description of your project. Try to be more emotional and focus less on pure data and stats. Let me suggest you to get a copy of starting with why by Simon Sinek. If you read that book you're going to fully understand everything.

Good luck with your campaign. I honestly think that you need more projects like this in america because the average quality of meat is super low. I came from Spain and here all this Growth Hormone thing is totally banned and cows are normally grass-feed like chickens and so on.

Fight for your project because you're not only creating a better future for you but also for your customers because this kind of business is the way to go.

Thank you very much for that. I am new to this and I want to do the best I can. You make several great points and I will learn from them. I am an animal lover and I've become more concerned on our meat quality in the U.S.
I won't give up and with great advice like that I believe I can do better.
    Thank you
