    Mesozoica (Dinosaur Park Tycoon)

    by Mr.Sentinazo » Thu Sep 17, 2015 10:49 am

A couple of days ago I backed Mesozoica, a dinosaur park tycoon. I find it like a spiritual successor of Jurassic Park Operation Genesis but greatly improved.
It will have around 70 creatures really well modelled and you will be able to customize them with genetics, so if you like the classic JP rex you can have it, and if you want more accurate feathered raptors you can create them. Also you can modify the skin colours too.
Devs also are working in 3 ways of play the game, first as the classic tycoon building your park, second as a visitor so you can watch what you have built from other perspective and finally as a dinosaur to try to escape the park and revenge or simply flee and try to survive.

(This are just a couple of examples they promised a much more in depth customization)

Wow you're a great backer! I think that's the ultimate positive thing for other backers to read if another backer is writing about the projects they've backed and why.

    It does look really good!

    Thank you giftsandcoupons!
I tried my best taking in account that I was waiting a game like this since a long time, I really hope it will become true.
Actually is almost half founded but it needs more backers, even if they just donate 1$ with the amount of people that they have in the facebook page they will be already almost founded but unfortunately just a minority pledged :(

I think those running the campaign should of promoted themselves a bit better, I was reading before that 90% of the work needs to be done beforehand - contacting blogs/relevant sites/contacts, knowing the competition etc.,...perhaps I'll write a blog post about it.

But yes would be great if this KS campaign takes off.

Probably yes, I think that they felt confident in that usual streams in which people can speak directly with devs will give a more personal touch and make people more willing to pledge but they are still very reluctant. It will be nice.

Unfortunately it's "who you know" that makes a campaign take off...seems they've had alot of luck so far. People like yourself are helping to promote their project where usually that wouldn't happen on a campaign.

    Who else are you backing.

Yes actually they had a stunning start it is getting slower but I expect that at the end more people will contribute.
I have been a fan of those type of games since zoo tycoon I really love them.

Just this game I found all this stuff of kickstarters quite recently also I prefer to not spent too much since Fallout 4 will be released soon and it is not precisely cheap xD
