I think you've gone already above and beyond, if you're offering a dinner date to raise funds

.

My thinking is that you should of got backing first from YT or Vimeo, build up a fanbase and then launch your KS.

As you've gone ahead with it already, I think maybe thinking outside the box like doing concerts or street singing even with a shortened link to your KS to back you. If people know you and support you, giving them this link is the next step forward.
