Hi, all

New to the boards.

I got the idea for my One Drabble for One Dollar campaign when I came across an artist who had used the title - One Drawing for One Dollar. He'd set his goal at $250 and had $7,000 in pledges with a week still to go.

Problem is I'm not an artist - or rather I'm an artist with words.

So I thought I'd give it a try with Drabbles - fan fiction stories that are precisely 100 words long.

I posted in a few Avengers forums (that's John Steed and Emma Peel Avengers, not the Marvel Avengers!) and someone immediately bought 25 drabbles, thus fully funding me.

And I haven't had any nibbles since.

Still, 41 days to go, lots of advertising left to do.
