I just enjoy seeing these kinds of gentle giants on the side of various roads. They tend to become local landmarks, as it's rather hard to miss them. I like these things better than all of the new metallic towers that seem to be everywhere, these days.

This is awesome. There's one by the side of the road from Vermont up to Montreal (where I live) next to a shop that has changed paint jobs, clothing, occupations etc over the years and is always great to see. Thanks for the tip!

This project just did a really great update, one of the nicer updates that I have seen for a Kickstarter project. But, it's an update for backers only, which will basically preclude the public at large from seeing the update, so it's ability to drive new pledges is very limited, I think.
