Decided to post a question.
I´ve read in different forums that it is good to back other projects, not just for the joy and satisfaction that comes from supporting your fellow Kickstarters, but it also supposedly makes your page ¨look good¨if you have backed other projects. So, when it comes to backing projects, do you prefer to A) back a project you like (seems like a no brainer), B) back a project that is close to reaching their goal and needs a push, C) back a project that is popular or ¨trending¨, or D) back a different type of project?
Just curious so feel free to leave some responses =]

One interesting thing to note is that I don't back projects because they are trending, but I tend to notice them if they are trending and therefore am more likely to pledge just because I know about them.
diynf wrote:Yeah, its a difficult question to answer because there is such a huge range of projects out there and reasons for backing will vary as Charles mentioned. I guess I ask also because many people will say that they don´t back projects based on popularity or how many backers the creator has backed, yet that´s usually the first place that people look. So it´s funny to me. I almost wish I could remote control into someones eyes like the IT guys and see what they see first, the mission/goal or the numbers. In any event, support is support and its nice to see everyone supporting one another, whether that´s through backing or simply sharing. =]
