    MST3K Documentary

    by sugarraydodge » Wed Jan 29, 2014 3:52 pm

Hey friends. I launched my campaign almost a week ago and I have been working really hard to spread the word. The word is spreading, but I'm having a hard time getting donations out of people. I need to find places and people who that will help drive traffic to the campaign without being annoying or spammy. Any suggestions?

    Hi Dave,

See that you have five backers. Have you tapped out your own social networks yet (friends/family/professional connections) - best to direct email, call, or message these people.

As a stranger looking at your campaign, from the text, I don't see how the funds will be used. I think the video approach is interesting......but it kind of turned me off. Like, yes I can see the humor aspect or how the reasons not to back are actually reasons to back, but it didn't jibe well with me. Really I just wanted to know: What is the project about and why should I back it. Why are you passionate about it?

Maybe others had a different reaction.
