    First Kickstarter Campaigns

    by albicchiere » Fri Jan 24, 2020 9:48 am

    Hi lads,
we have just launched our first Kickstarter campaign after winning the CES Honoree Award 2020 for our Smart Wine Dispenser.

    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/al ... -dispenser

For the pre-launch, we collaborated by Nuuk Digital and now we are evaluating the various solutions available.

Do you have any advice to give us? Until now we have had contacts with Enventys, Jellop, FundedToday, Backerkit...
    What do you recommend?

And what for PR? How can we have a higher media coverage?

Also, let me know what you think of the project 😃

    Hi everyone,

we launched our first Kickstarter campaign last thursday. Its about a robot that help hospitalized children to keep pace with the school. We come from Italy and we notice that during long stay in-hospital, children risk to miss out a lot of lessons and lost contact with their home school.

Currently our robot is made up only of a torso with moving arms and a head with mechanically moving parts, such as mouth, eyes and neck. We know that at appearance could be creepy.

For this reason we launched our project on kickstarter, we want to redesign completely it and implement IT solutions that will allow Manbot to interact independently with young patients and help them in school learning.

It would be great if you can give us some opinions or suggestions.

    Thanks

We just started our first Kickstarter campaign too. I would say give it a few days and evaluate if you need to bring in new partners. Working currently with Russell Marketing and FundedToday, so going to see how those partnerships turn out.
EQUO products are 100% compostable and biodegradable, designed harnessing the power of raw nature to replace single-use plastics. Launched on Kickstarter ⇩⇩⇩

Just launched as well. Guys, do partnerships such as with Russell Marketing and FundedToday really make a difference in a campaign? Can you just work with social platforms/ads? I mean.. how feasible it is for a small (under 10k) campaign?

Congratulations to the successfully funded campaigns in this thread! They look great.

PR is important and necessary because it's what's going to give your product some social proof, meaning that it'll be featured in a blog, article, video and reviewed by a niche authority.

If your budget is small, you can certainly DIY it. Here's an article to give you an idea on how: https://crushcrowdfunding.com/the-crowd ... nd-beyond/

    Good luck!
