We have 50k followers on Facebook from our previous launches so getting funded quick wasn't a huge problem, thankfully. Now we're focused on getting as many pre-orders as we can before our campaign completes.
What we did first: we notified our facebook followers and our email list about the impending Kickstarter launch. Then we followed up right after launch. We also are using a small boutique PR firm (which we use with our regular business) to help get the word out to their media contacts. Lastly, we're starting up some targeted facebook ads to see if we can find any niche audiences that can convert at a high rate. So far so good!
