Hi...London based musician new to crowd funding!

Hi all...I am new to this way of funding your creative projects.
I am a musician and I am trying to support the mixing and mastering of my album.
Is the first time I do try this way of producing music and I am quite intrigued as bypassing record labels is quite a good thing for musicians and composers (Record labels invest a bit and take everything off an artist).
Obviously I am quite naive and new (in crowdfunding...but I am an experienced musician and producer)...so any help and suggestion is welcomes.
