Pose Drawing Sparkbook: Put life into your drawings

I'm an illustrator who does work in the animation, comics, and children's books. I'm creating a new kind of sketchbook designed to help artists put more life and personality into their drawings. When artists draw a character it's easier to focus on the external features like anatomy and facial features and expressions. It's harder to focus on the internal aspects of a character, things like personality, thoughts and emotions. If an artist can learn to bring those out in a drawing he/she will be a much more effective visual storyteller. I want to help artists practice that skill.

Know any artists who might be interested? Please send them my Kickstarter link: www.kickstarter.com/projects/cedrichohn ... r-drawings

Congrats on the success you've seen to date. Has been pretty steady. I like your video - you seem very genuine. I know one or two friends who are interested in art/drawing, so I will forward it along. Also, not sure if this campaign would resonate with comic book fans (maybe people who want to try making their own), but I complied a list a few weeks back on: http://www.crowdcrux.com/20-bloggers-an ... mpaign-to/

You could also reach out to We Love Comics: http://www.welovecomics.com/

If you have a second, would be awesome if you could share some thoughts on raising funds (things you have learned) on what-have-you-learned-from-running-a-kickstarter-campaign-t814.html

Thanks very much for the links! Very cool. I really appreciate the help.

Would love to share what I've learned once the dust settles. Will probably write a blog post about it and link back to it here.

Cheers,
Cedric

Thanks again for the links. The campaign is in its last 48 hours and is successfully funded, in part because of the links you sent. Once the dust settles I look forward to coming back here and sharing my experiences.
