First time as well, just posted my kickstarter, I'm having someone write a press release of 500 words and will be submitting any place i can for free, that might help. I keep reading that sharing with your friends and family, and asking them to share nicely without spamming is very important!

I am on my first Kickstarter too. We ended up getting funded in the first two days but we asked for less than we needed to cover the costs because we weren't sure how much support we would get. Happy to say we achieved our goal but now we are looking into ways to keep the momentum going since we have 6 days left!
