Looking for help with crowdfunding research

Hello,

I’m really interested in understanding how people make decisions about which projects to back on Kickstarter, and how you make judgments about the trustworthiness of the campaigner/company. It’s been really fascinating, as someone who is new to crowdfunding, to read on here about the experiences, both good and bad, that people have had.

I’m doing some research at the moment that is working towards cyber security solutions to protect people against those negative experiences, with a system designed to authenticate identity and trustworthiness online. In order to develop an effective system and maximise the positive impact this can have for users, we need to understand how backers currently make decisions about projects and trustworthiness of campaigners. So we are running some online chat groups about this with backers, and would love for you to take part and/or spread the word about the research. If you are interested, there is more information and a sign-up form at the following link: https://dundee.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/onlinefocusgroup

Everyone who takes part will receive a £10 Amazon voucher (this can only be used on UK Amazon I'm afraid). Also, if anyone has additional suggestions about where I could contact backers who might be interested in taking part, I would be really grateful. :)

Thanks!

It might be good to add the time zone for the availability portion :)
