Hi all,

We are Bambooti and we fell in love with Kickstarter 2 years ago!
We design and create wooden and stone accessories for your everyday devices (Smartphones, MacBooks, ...).

Last year we launched our first Kickstarter campaign "A Wooden Back For Your Mac".
Thanks to 328 backers, we raised €21,138 to build our wooden MacBook Skins.

It was our first experience with launching a Kickstarter campaign... and we learned a lot!
We had some big pre-launch orders so we hit our 10K goal the second day, things slowed down a bit after that:

We couldn't get a constant traffic stream to our Kickstarter page (we weren't running Facebook ads or email marketing at that time) but we we're happy that we had hit 200% on our first Kickstarter campaign.

On the 16th of may 2017 we have launched our new REAL STONE collection for Smartphones and MacBooks.
Our campaign is still running for 25 days:

We hit our goal of 20K in 5days, but things have slowed down after that.
So any feedback is welcome! Please have a look at our Kickstarter page and give us your honest opinion 8-)
We are more than happy to help other campaigns right here so feel free to ask us anything!

Congrats! How did you hit your goal so soon? What did you learn from your first campaign?

Well it was all about pre-orders and early articles. We also had a lot of organic traffic and conversions so that's some good news.

We learned that you have to keep it really simple for the end-user, and not give too many options/rewards/things to get lost in. We are still learning at this point so things can always get better. The 3 best advices:
-Focus hard on pre-launch and give yourself enough time in the post-campaign
-You cannot start gathering email-addresses/subs too early, you rly need a fat list
-Focus on traffic early on , keep hitting those pr lists, even if they have opened your previous mail 10 times!

Congrats! If you need any additional advice, feel free to get in touch as I think you've got a great looking campaign and you need to keep on pitching.
