Dear crowdfunding experts :)

First of all, my name is Michael and I am new on this platform. I am amazed by all the great stories I read on this forum and all the helpful information and opportunities this platform provides!!

I have been working for more than one year now with my partner on this project: A backpack recycled from airbags and seatbelts! Check out our website --> http://www.airpaq.de

We have just recently launched our website and social media channels and are now preparing everything for our kickstarter campaign which is planned to start in mid June.

I was hoping you could give me some advice/feedback on what you think would be best to promote our product prior to the campaign start! Any special recommendations for forums / social media groups / bloggers / newspapers / ads etc. ? Every help is much appreciated!! Also leave a comment on what you think of our backpacks. You can also email me directly at: michael@airpaq.de

Best,

Michael

PS: if you subscribe for the newsletter on our homepage ( http://www.airpaq.de ) you have the chance of winning your Airpaq prior to the campaign :)

Hi Michael,

Your backpack reminds me of something that was on Shark Tank recently, so you've got a great selling feature.

I think the questions you're asking are correct, but you need to do this homework unless you hire someone (like us!). You could start collecting emails, I wrote a post on it, it's useful:

Forums are a good place to start too, but I think getting people on the street to wear them and get their comments (and record them) would be most useful. If you could time the KS launch with say a show or tradeshow, I think it would help you alot.

Thanks for the usefull feedback!! We haven#t thought to time the launch with such an event like a tradeshow, but I really like the idea! Also reading through your blog now!
