Hey guys,

We launched a Kickstarter back in 2015 for the SDJ-01: Self Drying Jacket.

While our funding was successful, it was only just barely, and I'd be lying if I said we weren't a little disappointed. We used Hyperstarter (I believe he still hangs out on here?) to help us, and we did get a lot of media coverage, but it just didn't translate into pledges. Honestly, I think it was mainly due to the video not being very good (I got some bad advice and was told the video "wasn't that important")

Well, we're back! The SDJ-02 is launching Friday:

Unlike last time, we worked hard to build up interest on social media. We're also using Backerclub, Kickbooster, and CrowdfundingPR. We also feel we have a much better video, photos, and all around campaign this time, so we're cautiously optimistic we can hit our $25k funding goal. We really think people will love these jackets, they've got a lot of great features, but we'll just have to see.

Either way, it should be interesting!

Wow, SDJ-02 should do well and yes, I'm still on this board.

I think you were featured on Metro, Mashable & quite a few other big ones and yes it's a shame the public didn't know more about it as it's a really cool jacket with super unique features.

You know how disappointed we were with the final results last time. We really felt like we had a great jacket, and we've gotten almost 100% positive feedback on it, but for whatever reason it just didn't catch on. That's why we're back to give it another shot. We guess the problem was with the campaign itself, so we really hope we got a winning presentation this time!

Looks very interesting. Is there a reason you did more than 30 days for the campaign? Just curious.

Something we found last time is it took awhile for the press to pick up on our story last time. We tried reaching out beforehand, but I guess we got lost in the shuffle. We wanted to give ourselves more time to get noticed this time.
