I'm not sure if I trust Fiverr to hire people.

Not sure if Fiverr is the right place to PR your campaign. You kind of get what you pay for really so it is probably better to put your money and efforts into other activities or paying for a professional reporter to set your PR document up on the media net which should get syndicated pretty quickly if it's good.

Thank You for the feedback on Fiverr. I launched my first kickstarter project yesterday and within minutes received 5 offers from different social media marketers. Fiverr was one of them and their edge was that they cost a fraction of the cost compared to the other offers. You are right to mention that you get what you pay for

Hello,
I am new, but just wanted to share my opinion on FIverr.
It offers a lot of great product and great tools for Crowdfunding, but , on my experience, i will not use any PR gig like " send your PR to 500 people " , but more gig where people will write you some articles, or PR. It will be a better investment because you can actually receive something and not just a promise that they send your PR to some 500 ghosts.
Good luck with your campaign : !

As a followup, I don't think Crowdfunding & PR & Fiverr won't work out. You might get help with a Press Release, but the value won't be great.
My suggestion of Press Release is look at your competitors, download their PR Kit and see what they wrote. Copy the structure, add your story and keep it relevant to Kickstarter (start date, end date and how much you're raising).
Hope this helps. BTW - I'm interested in the Skeleton watches. We've worked on a quite a few that are similar...can we get in touch and help?
