Hi there + existing companies doing campaigns?

Hi there,
we are Heimplanet and we just started our first Kickstarter campaign today.
We created some very nice active backpacks. Check them out:
http://bit.ly/HPT_MOTION_SeriesYou will see, that we are not some guys working part time on this. We are founded in 2011 and already brought some products into market which raised some awareness. That said I feel the need to point out, despite the professional website, pictures and stuff... we are still just 4 passionate people working full time for Heimplanet and it would be very tough, if not impossible at all, to make those packs happen without the help of Kickstarter and the crowd.
Nevertheless, I am very curious what you think about existing companies running campaigns on Kickstarter!
For me it is only a matter of need. If you really need support to realize a project you think is worth the work, I don't mind "bigger" companies at Kickstarter.
What about you?
Greetings from Hamburg,
Moritz

The backpack looks great! I worked on the overfunded IAMRUNBOX campaign, a little bit similar to yours.
I'm surprised with all the press you've been mentioned in & Jellop (who are expensive!) that you're not more popular.
Let me know if I can help!

Hey hyperstarter,
thanks for your answer.
The start was good but we expected a little bit more response from the US at the end of day 1.
The traffic is constant but the conversion broke in, guess this is quite normal to a certain point.
To push it in the US what would you recommend?
Cheers

No problem. I'd actually like to recommend ourselves, we've some great references from this forum on campaigns we've worked on:
http://www.kickstarterforum.org/recommend-using-hyperstarter-t6127.html- Not sure if Jellop allows you to work with anyone else, I think it's part of their contract.

Hey,
thanks for the offer. I will talk to the others and get back to you.
Jellop will start placing adds from day 12 till the end. So no help from their side so far.
Did you discover something you would do differently?
Cheers

Ok sure. Yes, we're probably one of the rare marketing firms that doesn't use Adverts, as there's no point in spending money to make money. Instead, we look at your closest competitors, who wrote about them and use similar pitches to attract attention. It's quite time intensive, but gets results.
