Hi there,

I would like to bring to your attention our fantasy board game about slavic mythological creatures Kurents.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/la ... of-kurents

Army of Kurents is featured as a "Project We Love" by Kickstarter staff.

They are bringers of spring that fight the Winter Demon and his soldiers. That's why we introduced slovenian folklore elements jezhevka, an enchanted handkerchief, bells and a mysterious ritual into the gameplay. One of the Kurent players is a secret helper of the adversary so Kurents compete among themselves.

Card match system and special dice make the game tactical and highly unpredictable. The bravest Kurent may bring spring to the land but only if he's skilled enough and armed with all folklore elements.

We would appreciate your help in sharing our project. It may be May but eternal winter is at stake :)

Hi, The video is pretty slick so that's probably why you got "Projects we love".

I think you need to add more text to your page. Tabletop games usually do pretty well and one of the higher % success rates in KS. Who did you connect with to get the word out? Did you look at your competitors or influencers in your field?

If I can help, feel free to get in contact with me and I'll let you know how to improve your campaign.

Alright, another tabletop game! The gameplay sounds pretty neat. Doesn't sound too complicated, but still allows for the game to have a lot of action. I'm really interested, but for the price of $30, the game isn't very interesting to look at. The symbols on the back of the cards are done in a neat style, but the game board is just bland. Looks functional, but not interesting. It just doesn't look polished enough for the price.

I still might grab a print and play version, and I do wish you luck. I would seriously think about getting that board design a makeover though.

Thank you for your feedback David! We will look into the board design and if there are any changes we will let you know immediately. As for the price, we went as low as we could, we actually won't be profiting from this, it is purely a passion project from two students.

I understand. I released a game as well and the production cost is pretty steep so I take a hit just to get it on store shelves.

Hey Blazenik, your project looks really neat! The video explains the story of the game really well and it doesn't look too complicated. I've just backed it and can't wait to receive the game. :)

Now what you really need to work on is promoting your project more as currently you are trending towards an unsuccessful campaign. May I ask what strategies you are currently using to promote your project? If you don't want to post this information publically then you can send me a pm. I'd love to help you drive as many potential backers to your campaign page as possible and improve your marketing strategies.

Cheers mate!

Kind Regards,

Jake
