Hi, all! My name is Alexander.
I am a game developer from Republic of Belarus and I am glad to introduce to you my PC game called “Lord of Poker”.
Game’s genre is an original innovation.
Main activities take place during playing Texas Hold’em tournaments (on-line poker elements)
while using special features of the items, character’s characteristics and magic spells, that have profound effects on gameplay at the table (RPG elements).
There are four characters in the game: Druid, Wizard, Paladin and Assassin.
Each character has its own unique abilities, for example:
And so on
The main goal of the player is to complete the main game quest,
which includes playing poker and obtaining experience while creating his own clan or joining an existent one,
capturing the Castle, and, eventually, gaining the title of Lord of Poker.
During game progress the player gets unique items, learn magic spells, which open new opportunities for gameplay.
Game events like raids on Bosses in dungeons,
battles on the Arena, captures of Castle and so on are poker tournaments with well-balanced structure and various features.
As player’s character becomes more developed he gets an access to new locations where he has an opportunity to play poker in new conditions.
It forces him to constantly change the strategy.
Gameplay offers different interesting possibilities like PvP or Team vs Team modes, team raiding on strong bosses in the dungeons in order to obtain rare items and money.
Lord of Poker is going to launch on kickstarter on March 9th 2016.
And today more and more positive feedback appears.
We think that “Lord of Poker” is able to change people’s view on role playing games and poker because they are not alone things, but the parts of a whole.
More information about the game you can find at our draft page - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/39 ... n=04b935de
I will be grateful for any feedback! Thank you!
