KUBE: A user-first social experience

We launched our first campaign today, after months of prepping and thinking, writing and re-writing. Eventually you have to set it out into the wild and start running with it.

Our CEO/CTO decided to write a daily blog, kind of a "behind the scenes" look at our campaign in progress. You can check that out here. https://medium.com/@anyuzer/prologue-tragedy-or-triumph-our-crowdfund-in-realtime-b53f8b38edb7#.m0f0mqqqc

It's a bit surreal on the first day, I'd very much appreciate any feedback you all have on the campaign itself, and please post a link to yours, if you're running a campaign currently.

OK here's my feedback! To start - Wow that video is cool! At times when I was watching it, I felt like I was watching a Kickstarter for a short film or tv series. The idea behind it is great and you can identify the "annoyance" of social media and Kube's involvement.

The problem is, as I viewed your campaign - I'm not really sure what Kube does. I understand it protects accounts and splits up accounts too via the cloud, but wouldn't a simple solution be a user having seperate accounts or quitting social media/unsubscribing?

If Kube was something you could switch on in the background like say turning on VPN or connecting to Wifi, it'll be great as the user should feel protected.

I think you should focus your marketing campaign based around what the FBI + Apple are doing. If your data is as well protected, you could jump in the debate and market your KS that way too.

Who have you connected with so far? Do you need any help finding influencers in your field? Let me know if I can help at all and I can share my thoughts but the campaign looks great so far.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to create a short "what can kube do for me?" section to put near the top. We've had great response on the video, although we know it's a bit long.

Haha a short reply to my lengthy feedback...but that's all good. If you'd like to bookmark our Hyperstarter.com site, perhaps we can get involved in your next project.

My apologies, and don't get me wrong, I certainly appreciate your thorough post.

I got down to your comment about "not knowing what Kube is" and got pre-occupied with how the heck to describe it better.

It's essentially a cloud OS, we built the infrastructure to enable Kube to operate like a private PC in the cloud, accessible from anywhere.

I would absolutely love your help finding influencers in our field. We have some great contacts locally, but haven't been able to get much reach outside of that.

We are following the FBI+Apple case closely, and are working on ways to tap into that in order to promote our solution.
