Hi guys!

So our project is almost 60% funded and we still have 41 days to go. We are a little bit worried because we have seen a decrease in the activity of our kickstarter page in the last couple of days. I just realized our project is way too far from the top in the apparel category so i want to ask if anyone here knows how kickstarter determine what projects should be in the first places.

Hey Caro, congratulations on 60% funding! Unfortunately what you just said is a common occurrence between creators, and as you begin to exhaust your personal networks, social followers/fans, email subscribers, etc. generally things start to slow down quite drastically. Most campaigns tend to pick up in the last 48 hours as people want to get in on the action before it's all over but you will need a strategy to continue to bring in backers over the next 38 days.

What's the plan so far with driving more people to the page and converting backers? Is there anything specific I can help you with? (Feel free to pm me if you'd prefer to not post everything publically).

I Just saw their project. Its really very hard when you have a small marketing budget to spread the word about a campaign @whatever but we are not giving up. #36daystogo

Hi Zachary, I saw the the @whatever post too..it's terrible how these Marketers act as they just focus on the money and not the project owner.

For Minimal Apparel, I left comments on a previous thread on where you can improve. You've got over a month left, so it's possible you'll reach your goal.

As mentioned before, it depends on who you're connecting with. Any influencers who are writing about you too or taking photos of other people wearing your thong will help... Having a big graphic on your page showcasing where you've been featured will help too.

It looks like a cool product with a lot of possibilities for interesting topical discussion. Have you done much interacting with bloggers who cover some of these topics? Also - just a thought about your KS campaign description: It's quite product focused as opposed to solution focused. It looks like your product solves a few important problems for women: Panty line removal, hygiene, multi use convenience. It takes a while to get to this in reading your campaign. Just a thought...
