Hi guys,

Have you ever dreamed of owning that cool self drying jacket like the one Marty had in Back To The Future Part II? We have the hoverboard, the self lacing sneakers... But no self drying jacket.......Until now!

We have just launch an actual, working self-drying jacket on Kickstarter and would love nothing more than to fulfill the dreams of all Back To The Future fans who always wanted one.

Thanks for checking us out!

Hey Falyon,

What a cool product! I think the page design all goes well together so I don't have any recommendations there. The video could be better but it does show off the jacket which is the whole point.

I think due to the nature of this project, if you focus on the back to the future aspect you could get some publicity for it. If I were you I'd try getting in touch with some of the people who run back to the future fan websites or back to the future Facebook pages. I did do a quick search and already found a few that may be interested in re-posting the jacket. You could even potentially run some paid advertisements with Google or Facebook targeted at back to the future fanatics.

If you need any help with the PR side of things, feel free to get in touch with me here, or via the contact details in my signature below. All the best!

Kind Regards,

Team Backertree!

Hey Backertree,

Thanks for the advice. I did target some Back To The Future Facebook groups, and even had some moderators of the groups ask me to post my project in their group. So far, it hasn't lead to more backers, but I'm definitely getting a sense that the project is getting more traction. People are talking about it, I just have to keep the momentum going.

I definitely think the video needs to be redone, so that's something I'm looking into doing. I've already re-designed the campaign to be a bit sleeker.

Anyway, thanks again for the constructive feedback and advice! Very helpful!

It is a cool idea, but I feel like the video needs some improvement and that would help your campaign a bit.

Yes, that seems to be the big complaint about the campaign so far, so we will definitely be redoing the video soon before the campaign gets too old. We still feel we have a window to get things right.

Excellent ironic as last month was the date they jumped to in time :)

I only wanted to write back because BT is recommending ads on Google or FB...if it's not targeted to the right people, it's a complete waste of money, so I wouldn't recommend this approach at all.

Hey G&C!

I was actually just giving him options. There are alot of different things to think about and there is no simple way to get the best results. In regards to paid advertisements on FB and Google being untargeted. The thing is, if you do the research, or if you know what you are doing, you can run successful advertising campaigns. With Facebook moreover, I have had success and so have my clients with re-targeting and boosting Facebook posts toward likers who are interested in your product/business, but may have simply missed your posts.

Cheers!

You have a cool and interesting looking product there.

You have a great idea it looks like , but you have to reconsider your rewards and maybe add 1 in the $40 - $75 range to attract more backers.

Hey guys,

We have completely revamped the project. Many people said they wanted to see the "Special Edition" featured as the focus of the project, so that's what we did.

If you've got the time, please check us out. We would appreciate any and all feedback on the new look.

Thanks!
