Hi, I like it and I don't like it...Here's why.

I think the design is great, it looks fresh and fun. The dog logos are awesome!

What I don't like about is that you've strayed away from your product.

You're promoting your sunflower seeds and the useful box, you've done a good job on that. But you've strayed away from the product by offering extra stuff in other tiers, so raise more money.

When I see things like get a tshirt, keyring etc., that puts me off. That stuff should really be free or distributed around in markets/fairs where you're trying drum up promotion. No one is going to pay to advertise your product for you.

Instead I would of preferred multiple boxes (more than the 3 you're offering) of seeds, maybe packs of 10, 20, 100? The target audience can buy in bulk, give away as cool presents or other things.

- For $15 I'm getting a box of seeds? That doesn't seem right...it seems shipping is extra too?

Hope this helps! I think it's a great idea, but the tiers need refining.

Thank you!

That is just the kind of feedback I was hoping for. I really struggled with the rewards. In studying other KS campaigns it's hard to determine what is well-accepted. I mean some creators give away a $100 item for a $75 contribution, others give a virtual thank you note for a $25 contribution. I just wanted to make it fun for the backers and give rewards that expressed my sincere gratitude. I still want to do that, and I believe you have helped me discover a way to do so while staying focused on Boxxers Sunflower Seeds. I am so grateful for your kind words of praise for the product and the presentation; but mostly I am grateful for the enlightening comments about the rewards. thank you for taking the time to review my project, and offer this guidance.

most sincerely,

Don Clark

Hi Don,

No probs! I just wanted to get to the point, as I know most people say "it's great" and doesn't give you much to work with.

I think your product looks great, I'd probably want to see why your seeds are better than others - more healthy, fresh? Less oil? This could be a major selling point, as well as how you pack and store them.

Who have you reached out to so far?

Hope this helps. If you're looking for more advice or need help, then drop me an email :)

thanks for your kindness in sharing your insights with me. We have already made changes (really important ones) as a result of our dialogue. I really like to know what I'm doing when I take on a new task. I am concerned that I can't get much of an education on crowd-funding quickly, so I may indeed lean on you a little - thanks for the offer.

No probs! But just to confirm, I'm not offering my services for free from this point on as to find out where backers come from and targeting influencer's takes time...I'm around to help, sure.
