Hey guys

My name is Jeff, I'm from New Zealand and have been living in Boise, ID since January 2014.

This is my first time creating a Kickstarter campaign. I'm a graphic designer & artist. I've wanted to create a clothing label for a long time. I did all of the graphic design myself, and if the campaign is successful I will be launching a webstore & creating a Lookbook for the line

Please check it out here and see what it's all about

Thank you for your time guys. Any advice/tips/feedback is appreciated :)

I think you need a proper website. Also who did you reach out to?

I see Threadless are opening clothing stores for free, perhaps you should look into it if it doesn't work out.

When I look over campaigns I look at the experience, awards, skills of the person posting the campaign...it's important.

$25 is alot for a black and white tshirt also. I'd love to see more colours and designs. I remember looking at Mooks clothing, perhaps they can inspire you as they based their apparell on their name too.

Thank you for your input, you make a lot of good points and I will definitely note all that down and take it into consideration if I decide to relaunch, as it's been made pretty clear that this campaign is going to fail horribly.

The most research I've put into Kickstarter campaigns is 2 days after launching, which was obviously my first mistake.

I naively thought that I could make it to the best of my ability and launch it and hope for the best. But a lot of people have mentioned that you should personally reach out to friends/family to guarantee pledges on the day of launch. I honestly can't even bring myself to do that..something about asking people you know compared to strangers for money just makes me ridiculously uncomfortable..

Honestly right now I'm not even sure the Kickstarter route is for me

Thanks for the reply, no probs.

Perhaps I was too harsh, but yeah if you can't reach out, connect, make friendships, establish yourself for the sake of this project then it's not going to work out.

The ideal dream of a celebrity wearing (and tweeting about your clothing) is the ultimate backing, but it's not going to happen if you think people are just going to promote and back you.

Maybe you should close it down, come up with a better campaign, contact people in advance, see who's interested, redo if necessary...

Yeah, from the sound of things, it seems like Kickstarter/crowdfunding might not be the right avenue for this project.

Like G&C said, you should consider looking at companies that do print on demand and maybe can include order fulfillment.
