Res Publica returns with a new edition! This time, Res Publica travels in future, where races migrate through Space searching for new areas in which to settle. Intensive trading brings together strong Races, encourages new settlements and promotes the development of civilization.

Each turn is divided in three different phases: Trade, Display and Draw cards. Each player at his turn can make a trade offer and each player in turn responds in kind. Using the cards through trading and drawing players work to acquire five identical race cards in order to build a Space Station (which increases the number of cards you can draw each turn) or five identical technology cards in order to build a City (which gives VP).

We hope you like our project and support us.

Explorers,

currently we work on some stretch goals. Normally we would not add any cause we want to deliver the game in about 2 months and release the game in Essen Spiel but then we said that we could send the stretch goals in a later date as soon the factory prepares them. A small second pack. Don't worry it will not affect the ship fees. This is something we will cover.

Now we finish a variant we had in our mind quite some time now and new planets. It will take some more time but I think on Monday we will post news and some goals to make the game even better. Stay tuned and if you want to participate on this, we would love to hear any ideas you may have or stuff you would like to see. Maybe we could do some now, or in the future. If you want to participate on this, just leave your comment.

Today we posted some photos on Board Game Geek. You can visit the gallery here: https://boardgamegeek.com/images/boardg ... ica-2230ad

Thumbs up the images if you like them. With your vote, more people will learn about the game. More about the campaign:

Explorers,

as we promised we start with the stretch goals today. The first stretch goal will be a new Planet: Stradus II at $8000. It is time to explore new missions!

An earth-like planet with an unusually large axial tilt causing extreme seasonal changes. Both the northern and southern hemispheres experience harsh winters, with cold nights that can last for weeks or months at a time depending on latitude. The atmosphere is composed mostly of nitrogen and oxygen, but high levels of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide make it lethal to humans. The most advanced form of life on this planet is a type of fungus...

Let's spread the word! Here is how you can help. Share the top post in our Facebook page to your wall or a group of your choice: http://www.facebook.com/magecompany

Explorers,

You did it! After a lot of research you managed to find a new Planet in the vast universe: Stradus II. This planet is now unlocked for all backers!

Next Stretch Goal at 10K. The planet Loorte: A habitable planet with a pleasant climate, homeworld of the Loort species. The Loorts are a friendly species with a simple agrarian society and limited scientific knowledge. While they are not capable of spaceflight (and seem to have no interest in leaving their world) they nevertheless interact with other species. In fact, all visitors are welcome on their world. The Loorts run a large spaceport on the large tropical island of Molko, which was built with the assistance of various allied alien governments (including humans). There, the Loorts work side-by-side with members of various alien species. The island of Molko is also something of a tourist hot-spot, famed for its pristine beaches and multi-cultural resort facilities.
