I was lucky enough to get one because I pre-ordered it ages ago when I bought the iPhone 6.
On to your questions. I like Apple, I trust them. The thing about the Apple Watch is that it looks super cool. The reason I bought it over other digital watches was mainly due to the apps. The apps on offer would be more compatible with the watch in the online store than say another brand.
I've heard of the Pebble (and featured it on our site) but it doesn't make enough of a statement as the Apple.
