Last Monday I launched my first Kickstarter! It's a Nintendo themed anthology with about thirty contributors. We've got some wonderful rewards, including original art!

Critique is always welcome, since I am used to being an artist rather than an editor. This experience has been both a rewarding and challenging one, and I'd bet some of you more experienced creators could help the project to improve!

Congrats. I checked out your campaign from the link you provided, not sure if you're looking for comments so I'll keep it short.

But first one, are you allowed to use Zinetendo? Sounds a bit similar to me ;/ 2nd thing, your site is on a tumblr blog, I can't see it due to restrictions with firewalls so would you have a dedicated site?

Well, Zinetendo is a play on words, so I don't see any problem with the title. Likewise, last fall the CEO of Nintendo opened up the company's IPs to fan-projects, so the campaign isn't infringing on Nintendo in any way. As for the firewall restriction, I'm sorry to hear that. You're the first person to notify me of the issue. I don't have a dedicated site but we do also post on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Zinetendo.

OK just double checking with you , simllarity in trademark law can be confusing esp if you're selling a product based on a similar named product: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confusing_similarity

That said I think your campaign looks great and I'll look it over and know a couple of Nintendo fanbies who would be keen. BTW - If Tumblr is blocked for me, Facebook certainly is! So probably best to get a proper site is available.
