My Kickstarter project is to help me get the funds to publish my first novel. First of all there are a couple things I want to let everyone know. One - I feel I launched my project too soon. Two - I spent money on advertising it, so now I feel locked in to seeing this funding project be successful. Please don't get me wrong, I love this novel that I wrote and I know others will too. It's just that being a new writer with no publishing credits to my name, I should have finished writing the novel before I launched my campaign to get the funding to get it published.

The thing I didn't realize was how much time I was going to have to spend on getting my project noticed when I launched it. So it's been a major juggling act for me to find time to finish writing this novel, which I am committed to doing, Networking with possible backers, finding new ways to get my project noticed by potential backers. Since most of you have been there I know you know what I'm talking about.

The things I've done on my project to show people my commitment to getting this novel finished before the end of the project deadline is to post updates every time I wrote more in my novel. In fact last nights update I also included a picture of the word count. Since I want to be held accountable to any potential backer that I'm backing up my words with action.

My current goal is to write three chapters of the climatic portion of my novel by 3/7/2015.

I added a new video to my Kickstarter project today. I am also doing pretty well at accomplishing the goal I set for myself. Even though I am still working on the first of the three chapters I want to complete by March, 7th. However, I am starting to warm up so I know the rest of this novel will come flowing out of me much faster as the days go on..

Hey guys I want to share my experience too. I always loved reading novels and I love the smell of old books so I always went to bookstores and spent my free time there in the world of books. But unfortunately, since the pandemic started my pleasure has been cut and I only had the option to read the books online. I found the most impressive books on the light novel online and I am happy to read them even if I don't do them in bookstores anymore. I recommend it to you if you need to read new novels.
