What do you think of my story?

*This story is the draft version. The final copy has much more epic-ness to it! One can not simply give away everything!

Azmara is the name of the world this story takes place in. Azmara's present state is in ruin. The lands are being terraformed by an ancient rune that has been cursed. This ancient rune was forged by the gods who created these lands. It allowed life to flourish on Azmara with wind and sky, earth and water. As civilization grew, one of the gods (one of 4) felt he deserved more power. He wanted to absorb the power of the rune to kill the other gods and create Azmara in the way he sees fit. The 4 gods are all down in the sacred temple with the one god who is about to try and absorb the power. 3 gods stand on one side of the rune, the one god on the other using the rune as a 'shield' from the other gods attacks. He attempts to absorb the rune's power, but is then consumed by the rune itself. A large blast (like a supernova blast) shoots from the rune and kills the other gods. The rune has become cursed. The spirit of the one god now lies within the rune and he is able to control the power of the rune and its ability to sustain life. The only way for the god to become whole again is to terraform the lands of Azmara into hard blue/purple rock called Azurite. This rock is the most precious of the lands because it sustains the power of the rune (the temple where the rune lies is near the largest source of azurite). The whereabouts to this temple have been kept secret; Only a select few known as the Azmari ['demi-gods'] were told about its location. Centuries had past and after many battles lost, only one Azmari remains.

You play the life of Az, you are the last living descendent of the Azmari race and the last hope for Azmara. Your tale begins here and still is more to be discovered!

What will your intentions with fund be for. It seems that your game is well designed and looks functional on mobile platforms. You should explain in your campaign description what you intend, in detail, to do with the backers money. Other than that, i think your game looks fantastic! Hope you get funded and good luck.

Most of the funding is to complete the rest of our game assets: NPCs and their spritesheet images, monsters, environmental tiles, inventory and new weapons, etc. This is noted under the 'Why Kickstarter' heading in the campaign's story.

We have working .apk files for almost all android devices. Unfortunately we can't release 'beta'/incomplete test files to apple users but our game works well on iphones and ipads also.

In a nutshell the game IS completed, we just need to make the game longer so we can mend it into the backstory and story to come.

Thanks for your feedback, and thanks for your opinion!

thanks, the possibilities are endless for this game. This new design can make the world so much more interactive.

It is amazing how the layering system works -- every piece of art in the game is set on a specific layer within a layer (inception!). We can have up to 16 layers in each level depending on the size of the room and whats put in it. The video on Kickstarter shows the player on the first layer of the dungeon and the 'moving walls' effect has 4 tiles/layers stacked on top of each other.

If that made any sense... haha
