Seeking feedback for our live campaign: Intervention

Hello everyone!

I am a co-creator of Intervention: A Party Game for Everyone's Worst Habits.

Our Kickstarter is live right now! Check it out at http://kck.st/1uWhteU

We're currently 50% funded but, admittedly, most of our backers are friends that we've reached out to personally. I was hoping to get feedback on what changes we can make to try and get more people in the Kickstarter community to check out our project and pledge if they like what they see.

We've posted updates, emailed Kickstarter stories, and have gotten tons of 3rd party reviews (which you can read on our KS page, if you'd like!)

Do people have suggestions on other things we can do to 1) increase our reach to non friends and family, 2) get noticed by Kickstarter, and 3) show up on the "magic" filter?

Thanks for all of your help! Please PM me if you have any questions or concerns!

Hey I'm Xavier Soto, I just watched your video and saw your campaign. I don't doubt that your project will be funded. There's a 30% rule of thumb for success you're at 50%; don't despair.
I really like the game idea it's an instigator of a sort useful for stirring up conflict which otherwise wouldn't be approached. I like how you made the video really fun; I'd wished you would have tied in the toilet scene; somewhere... what happened??? Otherwise it sets the tone that there's humor in the unmentionable, yet seemingly unavoidable; tragic, ridiculous, humorous- you could even incorporate drinking rules where people have to drink a certain way.
I launched my project today I think I've got more to worry about; talk about taboo, people don't discuss politics.
I don't think people even think about politics in a rational way. http://kck.st/11oisqr
In a nutshell VoterFeed creates 60 sec video reports on legislation in Congress.
The website is a combination of Reddit, video reports, polls, and comments; gathering public opinion.
You should make a facebook post, from the business page, with your campaign; make sure you get every one of your friends to like the post. You then click the 'Boost Post' from the business page, set a target audience, fund the post and track the progress. Having your friends like the post, gets facebook to put the post in your friends- friends streams their friends see the post too. Additionally the targeting which you assign can be based on several distinct factors; for instance people who like the televison show- how i met you mother & are 21-40 females, or people who like t.v. show Friends, or anything not even remotely related to your game.
You might take the game to a bar, or nearby college and invite people and show people how to play the game; video record everything; video record them answering open ended questions like what was your favorite part of the game you played show their reviews. If some crazy stuff happened ask about that getting the reaction is what you want; people want to feel that excitement, and laugh at themselves, in their lives.
I'd really appreciate some help with my project too.
Thanks,
Xavier Soto
