"Russian Folk Art” is a beautiful deck of playing cards inspired by Russian Folklore.

Is it Russian folk art, really? I dunno, honestly it looks too kitch to my liking; I hoped for Russian flok art to receive a more serious treatment.

Why does the packaging feature "Bicycle" brand?

wow, this is very cruel. Do you know a lot about Russian Folk Art?
Since I am originally from Russia this theme is very close to me.
The original designs of the deck are all inspired by folk designs from Russian heritage and culture. Here is a lot of research and work behind this deck. Every card has it's own unique design and element from Russian traditional folklore and the court cards were inspired by Matryoshka or Russian Nesting Doll.

The Tuck case has Bicycle brand because this deck has approval from the US Playing Card Company and will be printed at the highest quality by the USPCC on magnificent Bicycle card stock.

I mean, really? A bear in ushanka hat with a star? Isn't it cliché?

First matryoshka dolls only appeared in 1890s and were based on Japanese dolls.

I am deeply sorry for being so senseless and inconsiderate.
