We launched our project on October 3rd and so far have raised £5,000.

Not off to the best start, as we only have 30 days to raise £200,000.

We are an open source CRM company, completely dedicated to open source. We need £200,000 to accelerate the next release of the project, SuiteCRM 8.

We would appreciate any advice that could be given on how we can gain more backers for the project.

I think there are more people with this problem here, we have a somewhat similar problem in our campaign. All I can come up with, is focus on outreach and press releases. Keep talking and spreading the word. Who knows, you might reach out to someone highly influential, and willing to support you.

And of course, never give up until the clock hits that last minute
