My name is Warren Causey and I am new to this forum. There seems to be a lot of great information on here! I am excited to see what I learn.

I launched my Kickstarter project exactly four days ago. Essentially were are developing unmanned aerial vehicles that are designed to intercept tornadoes and gather data for meteorologists and engineers. We are still struggling to get above $1000, but hoping that things will pick up. I have been sharing it on all of my social media outlets and with friends and family. I'm hoping a lot of people are just procrastinating.

I have written to many journalists that have similar interests to our project, but I am not sure what else I can do. We will keep pushing it though.

If I remember correctly, I encountered a posting that you guys or someone else made on a Facebook group, before I saw your postings/links here in this forum. I backed it, because I always find research about tornadoes to be interesting. I don't want near one, of course, but I wish you well with this project.

I think this is a great idea. I think you just need to keep doing what you're doing, posting and talking about it everyday. Make sure you post more than once a day. Good luck!

Thank you both! This project was launched in response to losing some very good fellow chasers in May of 2013, who were also researching tornadoes. Traditionally the probe is placed in the path and proves to be a dangerous task. We decided to change that and use a popular upcoming technology genre to take the probe to the tornado.
