Introducing SPY, a live action espionage game

I'm the developer of SPY, an espionage game played in the real world using historically accurate tradecraft methods from the Cold War and present day espionage. Agents (players) use the same tradecraft methods -- dead drops, brush passes, encrypted messages, safe house meetings, etc. -- that real covert agents use. And because SPY operations are carried out in the real world, you will need the same skills and cunning as any CIA or KGB agent.

SPY is nearly complete, and our Kickstarter campaign is currently in "preview" status as we seek feedback from interested players and backers. The Kickstarter project page has extensive details about how SPY works (without divulging secrets that are better discovered during an operation). Even if you are not the adventurous type that would actually *play* SPY, you will likely find the game's description intriguing.

Please read about our Kickstarter project here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1186555722/120717401?token=227105f1 If you like what you see, please share our project with you friends and other cloak-and-dagger types.

Thank you!

Does this game require ongoing purchases? You don't seem to offer an unlimited option for one buyer.

SPY will cost $5.00 per person per operation, and there are no other fees. Thanks for your interest!

How many hours of game play is one operation?

Most operations should take anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks. The total time depends on many factors, since operations can take various paths. Keep in mind that most of the time that you are involved in an operation -- whether as a spy, handler or counterspy -- you will be going about your normal life, as your covert activities will be sporadic. When it's time to act, the action may be tension-packed. Afterwards, a couple days or more may pass before further action is required of you. Such is the life of a covert agent.
