Hello All,

It has been great getting to talk to several of you about your projects over the last few days. I am excited to be part of the community here and would like to take a moment to introduce our project to you all.

Our project, Claim The Chair: A Space RPG For The Sociopath In All of Us, is a video game set to release on PC/MAC/Linux in 2015. In this game you take on the role of a new recruit into the Galactic Navy, Earth's first attempt at an interstellar fleet.

One of our goals is to provide an entertaining and humorous experience. One of the ways we are accomplishing that is by focusing on personalities for the AI controlled characters. In the rush to fill crews for deep space exploration, the GN has taken on any and every applicant, leading to ships full of unique, deranged, and generally unqualified in many roles on the ship. Each AI Crewman has a unique goal such as Become First Officer or Get Discharged that is dependent on their personality traits.

Currently we are working on implementing 4 playable Careers(classes) with unique missions and gameplay. As you progress in rank you will find yourself doing a wider range of tasks in your field (or sabotaging the careers or lives of others to advance) until you approach Officer ranks. Then many more options open up as well as access to other areas of the ship.

Its hard to sum up the game in a few paragraphs, but if it sounds like something you may be interested in please check out our Kickstarter in my signature or our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/claimthechair

We are working on getting an improved website up at http://www.claimthechair.com which should hopefully be up Friday night.

Thank you all for reading!

I appreciate the linux support. I use Fedora 20. Although, I think ubuntu would have been better.
