Hello my name is Eleu Lopez and I launched my kickstarter project a day ago. It's an educational children's picture book about a young comet who must travel closer to the sun to grow his tail. Though Carl is afraid of the sun. Along the way he meets other space objects like a nebula, who's name is Ned, and explains what he is though in a way that helps Carl gain confidence.

My main purpose to get kids thinking and learning about space, our own solar system, in a fun, moral sensed way. This book belongs in an elementary, in your home! Can we make it happen?

Indeed! What is your project about?

We work with schools providing basic rocket science curriculum, and we would go out to schools with a large gun and shoot off air rockets. Well we needed a smaller way to do this so we can get in more classrooms, and to do that we created an adapter that connects a 2-liter bottle to a PVC pipe to shoot off air rockets.

People have been doing this in the past, but using duct tape which of course is not very kid-friendly. Our adapter simply screws on the bottle, and you're ready to launch air rockets. They will be cast in plastic, durable, and last for years.

So we need some money to get our casting started and get these in the hands of kids nationwide. By pledging at the $19 level, we will send you a SoDaptor of your own!
