I just wanted to share my kickstarter project called "Disciples of the storm" our game is a fantasy RTS based around the old RTS from 1997 called Netstorm Islands at war, three years ago me and some of the fans got together to try and do a remake as a fan tribute of the original Netstorm and released two playable early builds to the community, these builds caught the attention of the original game developers, The orginal developer were interested in proceeding along with making it an official Netstorm II but Activision who owned the IP for ingame content was not interesting in continuing but we had the option of switching IP to not use any of the old IP from the original game and setting game play in a new world so our team decided this was the best option..

We have relaunched the project and this time are now directly working with the original creators of the first game on creating new art and content for the new IP and world..

Just small update we are slowly getting support that is trickling in and we have now reached 6,287$ on our kickstarter goal as we are pushing for our set 50,000.. been doing a lot of posting and reaching out on facebook and twitter.

Just wanted to let everyone know Disciples of the storm has now reached 11,324K with further confirmed backing from a game industry backer.. We did some adjustments on the front page to try and go into gameplay detail's a little bit better, we hope people will check out the project and give it a second look.

Our RTS project has now reached 12,603 in backing but we need help pushing to reach our first goal of our kickstarter.
