Hi, I'm Nicole, but I write under a pen name as you can see.

I'm a 30 year old single mother of two. I'm currently in nursing school, and I love to write! My 11 and 9 year old children are my world, and together we share a home with a 90 pound dog, three guinea pigs, and my youngest little one has a therapy horse who dwells in our back yard. I live in Texas, so this is typical LOL. It's also far from abnormal to see people riding their horses on the sidewalk or alongside the highway in the middle of our town of 2000 people.

Other things about me, I love renaissance faire, videogames, and I'm into horror movies!

So, it's very nice to meet you all thanks to our shared desire to receive money from strangers!

This is only our second Kickstarter project. We've been fortunate enough to fund our second novel and most of our book covers with the revenue earned from our first two novels. But now we're broke, LOL. We're back looking for more now.

I'm hoping this helps out! LOL. We'd love to publish ahead of schedule to get our next book out there. I also wish we'd known about forums during our first campaign.

@spellbound - I really want to visit Texas some day. Haha, awesome that you have a lot of pets. Did you learn anything from your first project?

Definitely. We learned not to offer hardcover books unless necessary. And we learned about the multitude of google+ groups to post to. Last time, we mostly used a combination of Facebook and Twitter. Including Google+ received a couple of backers right off the bat and also led us to this group.
