This is really my wife's Kickstarter.

She met an amazing ceramic artist (Marino Moretti) a few years ago while we were traveling. She is now a full time artist will be traveling to Orvieto Italy to work in Marino's studio. Marino uses 500 year old glazing techniques to illustrate his personal and whimsical stories.

She did not receive the grant she applied for so she decided to use Kickstarter to fund the project.

A friend suggested one of her awards be a mini workshop in her studio after the project was complete. The award is $40 and she calls it Minne-Italy. She will show people how to glaze their own tiles, try some Italian food and watch a slide show about her adventure. During the first week of the kickstarter no one signed up for this award. She nearly pulled it from the offerings. Then one person signed up. She thought "oh no! now I have to do an event for one person." Then more and more people signed up. Now with 9 days remaining she has 12 signed up and she is thrilled. So it will be enough people to hold a great event.

So with nine days remaining kathy is at 80%

Sounds like an interesting award, and should be a fun event

Congratulations to your wife and you. I think the timelines vary from campaign to campaign. Some have a steady increase and others have spikes now and then.
