DayOff: The Web Series is Finally Crowdfunding!

My name is Trent Mills, I'm an improv actor in New York and writer.
I've been developing a web series with my writing partner Greg Stone for the past year and we are finally ready to do and to do it right!
"DayOff" is a web series that chronicles a Tuesday, in the lives of two roommates, Trent and Greg, in New York City, 9 AM to 9 PM. After discovering they each have a free day from work, they hyperbolically resolve to have nothing less than the greatest day known to mankind, despite themselves.
Over twelve hours, represented by twelve episodes (5-7 minutes in length), we watch them go from the apartment to the city at large, trying to cash in on their precious free time with increasing urgency, always one step behind each other.
Starting as a couple hapless dudes with nothing to do, the show's comedy and premise crescendo out of its odd mixture of mundane action and disproportionately high stakes, creating, instead, a couple helpless dopes with everything to prove.
From trying to make brunch and get out the door to accidentally buying cocaine and doing performance art, DayOff lampoons everyone's favorite feeling that they ought to be doing something better than what they're doing right now, and how our tendencies to feel dissatisfied can ludicrously lead us astray...
