SoapSkeptics is an art group made of two local artists from Metuchen, NJ.

We just launched a kickstarter for a project in which we travel across America to film a documentary about the ways in which culture and art exist in today's society.
We have been blogging, visiting, and interviewing artists (of all mediums) in the tri-state area in order to get different perspectives from artists on how today's quickly evolving culture has affected the way they view/make art.

Cool mission. Very in-line with the artists on Kickstarter. Maybe you could consider interviewing some of the artists on Kickstarter to involve the community and get more backers?

I really like how you guys point out you have invested half. Shows that you are serious.

Your idea behind this documentary is really inspiring! I love that you're not just making a documentary, but also incorporating the weavings you make in each state into a book, taking a piece of every place with you as you travel. Good luck!
