One of America's Last Great Adventures - Documentary

Hey everyone, my name is Christian Lowry and I thought I'd share my kickstarter project, see what everyone thinks. Two years ago I floated the northern 1100 miles of the Mississippi river in a kayak. This summer, a friend and I are going to complete the last 1200 miles making donations to individuals and charities in need along the way. On our return we'll use our pictures and video to make a full-length documentary for our backers. I look forward to hearing from you

This is an awesome idea! Have you guys thought of contacting local TV networks, radio, and newspapers of towns along the Mississippi? They might take interest and want to interview you and in exchange you could promote your kickstarter. I went to High School in a town along the Mississippi and every now and then the local news would feature stories about people traveling along the river. Hope it goes well for you!
