Photos on Kickstarter are 620 pixels wide. If I upload a wider picture, Kickstarter's reformatting software leaves artifacts. If I upload a narrower picture, Kickstarter expands it to 620 pixels wide. If you format your pictures to 620 pixels wide in Photoshop, then upload to Kickstarter you get a sharper image.

This post has been moved to the General Chat + Introduce Yourself section.

Is it really 620 pixels wide?

I'm seeing Pebble Watch used 560 pixels wide when saved to disk but several others like Evolution Bra and Peak Design used 680 pixels wide. Are you certain it is 620? I wonder why these big campaigns got it wrong? Perhaps Kickstarter has changed since you posted this?

Kickstarter ideal photo width is now 680px

Yes, they are too stretched, and this makes them blurry. But I think it can be fixed to a normal state

It is actually possible to fix this blur issue. Just adjust the sharpness and detail of the photo. But there are a lot of difficulties with this, since you need to do all this in Photoshop, make, save, set a normal format, and so on. Although I usually instead of photoshop do it on https://www.softorbits.com/unblur-photos/ to make it much faster and I could post normal photos on kickstarter. By the way, I'm not particularly sure that there is exactly 620 because, if I'm not mistaken, I found both 680 and 580. But this is not accurate, so I'd better trust you.
